My New Year’s wish

Dear GG,
My New Year’s wish is to get rid of all the idiots in trucking and get the economy back on track.
Fuel has gone down, but people aren’t buying. Everyone’s uncertain of what’s going to happen. I’ve been driving since 1988, and things have gotten really ugly. The trucks have gotten a lot better since that time, but the economy’s been like a roller coaster, and this is about as bad as I’ve ever seen it. I’ve only read about the depression, but I never thought I’d live to see the day we go through it again. So I’m hoping that 2009 gives us hope.

Hello Red Rose,
Not a bad wish for the new year!
Have you heard the saying, “This too shall pass?” The economic conditions will change, and hopefully for the better, but there will always be idiots. In fact, the idiots will breed more idiots. Before you know it, the roads will be filled with all kinds of idiots. The only chance we have is to not become one of them.
My best wishes for a safe, healthy and prosperous New Year! Be sure to visit me at the Ramp Forum (http://rampforum.com) and tell me your New Year’s wish. Even if you are an idiot, I’ll respond.
     Cheers,
     GG
